Wedding

Ceremony
If the weather holds out (and we hope with everything we've got that it does) the ceremony will be held on a section of Varadero Beach at approximately 2:00 p.m. on March 3, 2011.  We say approximately because things might run on island time - but please try to be on time (we will too).  Plus do you really want to miss witnessing these two lovebirds
Catamaran Love

getting married here - even if it's just for the spectacular view.
Beach Ceremony Location
The ceremony should not last any longer than 30 minutes.  Immediately after the ceremony there will be a short champagne toast and then we will head out with the photographer for some wedding shots.  You are all encouraged to enjoy the rest of the day and take full advantage of the resort.  Heck even take a nap.

Since we made the decision to get married abroad we decided that would not have a wedding party.  This decision was made simply because we didn't want anyone to feel obligated or pressured to come and honestly the bride as a hard time delegating tasks.  However we were required to have two people act as witnesses and we are thrilled that both of them said yes.

The beautiful Jennifer Gilson AKA Gilly - Witness for the Bride as well as wedding dress consultant, work-out buddy, and permanent lunch date.  Thanks Bestie.
The one-line-joke man Chris Olson AKA Panther - Witness for the Groom and @ Home Celebration MC.  Thanks for all your support Chris.
And it's such an honour that our mutual long time friend has offered to facilitate a portion of the ceremony - he even offered to be ordained. He is even flying to Cuba from England.

Brandon Davis AKA Bran-Don Davis - a great friend to both the bride and groom (seriously look how cool he looks). Thank you Brandon.
Reception
A dinner reception is tentatively planned for 5:00 p.m. (we are in the process of sorting all that out) and will be held outdoors (weather permitting).  Once we have all the details - we will be sure to let you know.

Dress Code
We don't want to limit your uniqueness and trust you all have good taste.  Just know we don't expect you to wear a suit or an evening gown.  Shoes are definitely optional.
