Money
There are two currencies that circulate throughout Cuba - the Cuban Convertible Pesos (CUC) and Cuban Pesos (CUP). Tourists generally use Convertible Pesos and can only be bought and sold in Cuba with either Canadian dollars, Euros, British Pounds, or Swiss Francs. Credit cards are widely accepted but please note that due to embargo laws credit cards issued by a US bank will not be accepted in Cuba.
